Arranging the home screen

Drag lists into the order you want and file them under your own collapsible categories — an arrangement only you see.

Once you have more than a handful of lists, the home screen wants organising. ⇅ Arrange turns on arrange mode: every card and category header grows a ⠿ handle you can drag, and each card gets a Move to picker for people who would rather not drag.

Focus a ⠿ handle and use the arrow keys if you are working from a keyboard.

Categories

+ Category (visible in arrange mode) creates a collapsible heading — "Watching", "On hold", "Work" — that lists can be filed under. Categories can themselves be dragged into order, and collapsing one hides its lists until you want them.

You can also pick a category when you create a list, so it lands in the right place immediately.

Boards

📌 My Boards has its own ⇅ Arrange and its own categories, and they work exactly the same way: drag boards into order, file them under collapsible categories, and pick a category when you create a board or in ⚙ Board settings. Board categories are separate from list categories, so "Work" can exist in both without mixing lists and boards.

The arrangement is yours alone

This is the part worth knowing: ordering and categories are per-viewer. A list someone shared with you can be filed under your own category and dragged anywhere you like, and none of that changes anything for the person who owns it — they keep their own arrangement, and they never see yours.

The same holds in reverse: rearranging your own lists does not disturb the home screens of the people you have shared them with.

Finishing

Done leaves arrange mode. Nothing needs saving — each move is stored as you make it.
