Sharing lists and catalogs
Give someone view or edit access to a list or catalog, or publish a read-only link that works without a Larnik account.
A list or a Kufaryk catalog can be handed to another account, or published as a link anyone can open. Groups are the one thing that cannot be shared: a group is a view over lists that have grants of their own, so sharing one would mean either a confusing partial view or a silent cascade.
Sharing with an account
Open the thing's share dialog and name the account, then choose:
- View only — they can read it and nothing else.
- Can edit — they can change the contents: items, objects, field values.
What "can edit" does not cover is the shape of the thing. Custom fields, the sort order, the duplicate-titles switch, the name and icon, deleting it, and the sharing itself all stay with the owner. A collaborator can work in your list; they cannot reshape it under you, and they can never pass access on to somebody else.
Shared things appear on the other person's home screen with a badge saying whose they are. They can file them under their own categories without changing anything for you. Anyone can walk away from something shared with them at any time.
The owner owns everything in it
Rows a collaborator creates belong to the owner, and anything a collaborator deletes lands in the owner's trash, where the owner can restore it.
That is what makes revoking access safe: taking a grant back never orphans rows and never removes content. It also means a collaborator cannot quietly empty a list and take the undo with them.
Public read-only links
The share dialog can also publish a view-only link that needs no Larnik account at all. Anyone holding the link sees a read-only snapshot of the list or catalog and the owner's username — nothing else about the account.
Treat the link as the secret it is: there is no password on it, so anyone it is forwarded to can open it. Revoking it from the same dialog kills it immediately. Grants and links never outlive what they point at — deleting a list drops its shares with it, and a list restored from the trash comes back unshared, deliberately.
Films and games in shared lists
The film and game catalogs are already shared by everyone on this Larnik, so there is nothing to share there. A shared list's linked items show the same titles and posters to everyone who can open it, and its field columns are the list owner's movie or game fields. The numbers on a catalog card count only your own lists. In the public link viewer a linked item shows its title but not its poster.
