Verhavod — Kanban boards
Kanban boards next to your lists: columns, items with an assignee and a due date, overdue highlights, sharing, and links to your catalogs.
Verhavod gives you Kanban boards — for a household's chores, a small team's sprint, a renovation — kept on the home screen under 📌 My Boards, below your lists. Press + New board, give it a name and an icon, and it opens with three columns: To do, In progress and Done.
Once you have several, ⇅ Arrange next to + New board orders them and files them under your own categories — see Arranging the home screen.
Columns
In ⚙ Board settings you rename, add, reorder (drag ⠿) and remove columns. One switch per column matters: ✓ Done. Items in a done column count as finished, and a board can have more than one (say, Done and Won't do). A column can only be removed once it is empty, and a board always keeps at least one.
Items
+ Add item above the board, or + next to a column's name, opens the item window. Every item has four fields of its own:
- Item name
- Note — any longer description
- Assignee — the board's owner or anyone it is shared with
- Due date
Board settings can add custom fields of the usual field types; every item on the board gets them, and the first few filled-in ones show on its card.
An item that is not in a done column is highlighted when its due date is today (amber) or has passed (red). The board's header, and its card under My Boards, count how many items need attention.
Moving items
Drag a card to another column or another spot — with a mouse from anywhere on the card, on a touch screen by its ⠿ handle, so the rest of the card stays free for scrolling the board sideways. Or open the item and change its Column. All / Mine / Due above the board shows everything, the items assigned to you, or the items that need attention.
Linking items to your catalogs
An item on a board can link to a Kufaryk object, a movie or a game, just like a list item. Each module has to be turned on for the board first, in ⚙ Board settings → Modules; a new board starts with all of them off.
With a module on, the item window offers Link to catalog…, Link to a movie… or Link to a game…. Pick one, then Save the item. Linking is optional, and an item links to one thing at most. A linked item shows the object's title and picture on the board and in its window, and Details opens the object itself. The item's own name and note stay its own: Unlink gives it its name back.
A Kufaryk object has to come from the board owner's catalog, so someone you share the board with can only link to catalogs you have also shared with them. Movies and games come from the shared catalog, so anything there will do. Turning a module off again hides its links rather than removing them; turn it back on and they reappear.
Sharing a board
👥 shares a board the way you share a list: view only sees everything, can edit adds, edits, moves and deletes items. Only the owner changes the board's setup — name, columns, fields, modules — shares it, or deletes it. Sharing is also what makes someone assignable; removing someone (or them leaving the board) unassigns their items on it. Boards have no public link, because they carry people's names.
Deleting and restoring
Deleting an item, a custom field or a whole board sends it to the trash — the owner's, whoever pressed Delete. A restored board comes back unshared; a restored item whose column has gone in the meantime lands in the first column, and one whose linked object has gone comes back unlinked.
Switching Verhavod on and off
You can hide Verhavod for your own account in ⚙ Settings → Verhavod boards. Turning it off hides 📌 My Boards; your boards and their items are kept and come back when it is on again. If 📌 My Boards is missing and the setting is greyed out, boards are turned off for this Larnik.
